Given that the Government of Hong Kong announced that all nurseries, kindergartens, and primary schools are closed for up to or at least 14 days due to the outbreak of the H1N1 flu virus, CCHK will make all appropriate plans to ensure the health and safety of our children on Sundays.
Here is what CCHK has done and will do:
1) We have talked to KWS College (high school) and ensured that we are allowed to continue worship at their space on Sundays.
2) KWS College Staff will disinfect all classrooms and hall for us before we begin set-up on Saturdays for Sunday Worship. We will in return disinfect and clean all desks and tables after worship before returning the space back to KWS College.
3) Children Ministry will continue to have Sunday School classes, separating them into smaller groups and providing individually wrapped snacks to Sunday School Children.
4) We will have mandatory hand washing with alcohol-based sanitizers in classrooms and facemasks will be worn for all children in Sunday School. Alcohol-based sanitizers will be available for adults at the entrance of Beatitudes Hall.
5) Parents are encouraged to provide your own masks for your child(ren). We will have additional supply at the Welcome Desk on Sundays for both adults and children if needed.
We hope to see you this Sunday at 10:30am for our regular Worship Service!

As a multi-denominational church CCHK practices the classic formula:
“In essentials, unity…in non-essentials, liberty…In all things, charity.”
During the next five weeks we will take a close look at the non-negotiable essentials in which we find our doctrinal unity.
In morning worship and LifeGroups let us grow in our understanding of this faith:
The Essentials To Know About God (June 14th)
The Essentials To Know About Humanity (June 21st)
The Essentials To Know About Salvation (June 28th)
The Essentials To Know About The Holy Spirit (July 5th)
The Essentials To Know About The Future (July 12th)
“My dear friends …. I felt the need to encourage you to fight on for the faith which once and for all God has given to his people” (Jude 1:3)

The Bible describes faith in this way: Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see. Hebrews 11: 1 This confidence that something we hope for will happen is also called trust. All of us place trust in someone or something: it could be a loved one, an ideological or philosophical belief, the market, and perhaps, in myself. These are not necessarily bad things.
