Jesus says that we are to lead our lives in a way that others may know that we belong to Him. And in Mt.10:8, “Freely you have received, freely give”. Just as the lyrics of the song “Freely, freely” says, ” .. go in my name and because you believe others may know that I live…”

Evangelism is reaching out to those around us; to share what we have received freely from the Lord - His love, His compassion, His Word. Why?
1. Because of our love for God and a desire to bring glory to Him,
2. Because of our love for people and a concern for their welfare - now and in eternity
