“What good is it, my brothers, if a man claims to have faith but has no

deeds?” (James 3:17) Deeds of loving service are a verification of our faith in Christ.

1. Object

a) Outreach is the natural consequence of faith in God, and obeying Jesus’ command to love God, and love our neighbors as ourselves.

b) Outreach is voluntary reaching to the weak, needy and suffering on the basis of God’s grace.

c) Outreach ministry seeks to glorify God through action, at all times relying on God to bring its works to fruition.

2. Function

a) Act as stewards of Congregation funds to donate to charities under a transparent and responsible process;

b) Stimulate Congregation participation in outreach concerns by arranging for activities. Real Outreach members are the entire Congregation.

c) Act as 2-way channel to:-

i) channel the needs of Focus groups/Special Appeals to Congregation;

ii) receive requests from Congregation about their wishes
