Spectrum Youth

“But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin.” - 1 John 1:7

Spectrum is a community of passionate young people, dedicated to living counter-cultural lives, full of faith, fun and freedom in Jesus Christ. Though we are many, each with our own unique story, we are united in our pursuit of the same God, the light of the world.

Junior Youth: Our Junior Youth program kicks off around 7 pm in the Ministry Centre. We chill out, play games, and spend some time learning about God, the awesome story that he’s writing, and the big part that we have to play in it. Then we wrap up with a combined time of music with the Senior youth, usually finishing around 8:30

Senior Youth: Our older youth start off with a combined time of music at 8pm, also at the Ministry Centre. After that, the Juniors head home and we share about the awesome things that Jesus is doing in our lives, as well as working together to explore faith, answer questions and work out what it means to be a Christian.

Sunday School: Our youth Sunday School focuses more on Biblical teaching, Christian living and the fundamentals of being a Christ follower while an adolescent teen. We meet during the worship service time of the adult congregation, and usually continue until shortly after the service is finished. For this time, the youth ministry is divided into two groups, so that the teaching is age appropriate and also socially suitable to those who come.
